Solution convergence termination

I am solving a carrier transport model and I am really getting close to the solution. As you see that the "relative tolerance" has been set to 1e-10, and the iteration SolEst has gone down to 1.7e-11 and it looks like there is no way stopping it. The Error has no tendency to go up (I have tried to let it run for 22 hours) but it just never reached a solution unless I click cancel.

What's interesting is that, at iteration 14, the computation was 99% complete but after iteration 15, the computation progress dropped back down to 12%.

Can someone give me a hint how to set the parameter in order to let the solution come out as planned?

Thanks.
