Hello everybody

I would like to model following (it is the dissolution of a mineral A - its mass reduces with time) in Comsol 4

mA(t+dt)=mA(t)-(mA/dt)(t+dt)*dt

with
mA/dt the dissolution rate

and

mA(t=0)=mA0

Any suggestions how i should do it?

Thank you very much in advance

Kostas

Hi Konstantinos,
I am also going to model the dissolution rate of a particle inside water using COMSOL 4.4 . I was wondering if you could help me with that since I am new to COMSOL. I am using 2 physics: 1- transport of dilute species and 2- deformed geometry
my geometry is a sphere (particle) inside a larger sphere (solution)
I'd appreciate your help
