Using extrusion coulped variables to model 1-D+2-D problems

Hi,

I have the numerical problem about using extrusion coulped variables. I have two models (1-D for channel and 2-D for electrode).
They are coulped fully: the variables to be solved will be extruded to the 2-D boundary as a boundary condition and the fluxes at the boundary of 2-D domain will be extruded feedback to 1-D domain.

My problems are:
When I do not use the extrusion variables, the models can run well; But when I use the "extrusion coulped variables" with "general transformation", I can not get the convergence results from COMSOL.
The version of COMSOL I use is v3.5. In stationary application, the solver is chosen as "UMFPACK".

How can I do in the next step?

This is just a demo or verfication example for my future more complicated model (serval models coulping with each other).

Thank you very much! I am looking forward to your replys!!
