Urgent-redefine dependent variable?

Dear all,

I have a problem about the dependent variable.
When we use laminar flow module, the velocity is u,v,w already set. I want to let u=u-const. And I want to use the newly defined u as the dependent variable in laminar flow module. Is this possible?
