Selective electric field Convergence at Chi3 contribution

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,
I am looking for convergence of electric field distribution in a 3D tri-layer metal-dielectric system with the metal and dielectric material's electric susceptibility (chi3) contributions at increasing incident power levels of excitation wavelength 1064 nm. So I am defining the electric permittivity of metal Epsilon as

Epsilon (total)=Epsilon (Au)+3*chi3 (Au)*mod(E)^2

Where “Epsilon (Au)” is considered from Lorentz-Drude model, Chi3 is a specific defined value of electric susceptibility and “mod(E)^2” is the electric field to be account from the respective localized field distributions over the selective mesh elements in a specified material domains; metal and dielectric. I would like to look for convergence of this electric field. Similarly for the Epsilon of dielectric which is included in the module. How to set this module?

I am attaching herewith the model that I had set-up. In my simulations I have used Direct: MUMPS solver with Linear Solver: Direct.

Thanks in advance.
Sriram
