Modeling magnetic nano-particles in a fluid

Hi all,

We wants to model magnetic nano-particles in a fluid (fluid velocity is 0).

We don't know which model to choose in the model navigator, and how to create a nano-particles.

Thanks

Hi Ori
I'm modeling cancer treatment with magnetic nano particles in comsol, and I'm having the same problem you had.
I was wondering if you'd found out what model to use, I'd be glad if I receive your answer

Thanks a lot.

Hi, I have the same problem as yours. I want to simulate the concentration variation of nano-particle in a micro-fluid channel under magnetic field, I have built a modeling including transport of diluted species , laminar flow and magnetic field . I want to solve step1: stationary magnetic field and then step2: time dependent laminar flow and transport of diluted species. step1 solved good but I have an error in step2 . Nonlinear solver did not converge.
Maximum number of Newton iterations reached.
There was an error message from the linear solver.
The relative residual (0.33) is greater than the relative tolerance.
Time : 0
Last time step is not converged.
Anyone got a solution?
