transport in diluted species

I am modeling unsteady state mass transfer from a spherical particle into the surrounding fluid. Due to mass transfer my sphere decreases in size with time, so I am incorporating the Deformed geometry physics to account for this change in shape. While running the simulation it is showing an error 'Inverted mesh'. I have further refined my mesh but it didn't solve my problem.
What else can I do to resolve this problem?
The suggestion will be very helpful.
