This year, over 260 multiphysics enthusiasts joined us for the COMSOL Conference 2013 Bangalore. While we did see some familiar faces, it was exciting to see plenty of new users at the event. Microfluidic devices are so small that the micropumps and micromixers that control and mix the fluid inside the device cannot involve any moving components. Instead, they must take advantage of electroosmotic flow.
