The first stop of the COMSOL Conference 2014 has now come and gone. The event brought together over 320 simulation practitioners from the worldwide multiphysics community to the unique setting of Churchill College in Cambridge, U.K. I would like to thank everyone who made the trip and to share with you some photos from the conference.

The city of Cambridge has a rich history of scientific and engineering excellence. Over the centuries, the university has seen many famous academics pass through its doors, their work and discoveries shaping the progression of scientific research. Cambridge is also home to a very important cluster of high-tech businesses, with many starting as university spin-outs and some of these growing exponentially to become industry leaders. In such a setting, it is difficult to imagine a more fertile place for the exchanging of ideas on multiphysics simulation.
The three-day event contained minicourses, oral and poster presentations, keynotes from world leading companies, and a soirée at one of the more picturesque settings in Cambridge — St John’s College. The college atmosphere brought friends together, both old and new, and made for a very enjoyable event.
Here are some photos to help you to remember your time at the COMSOL Conference 2014 Cambridge. Enjoy!
Finally, I would like to thank everyone again for attending and I hope to see you at a future COMSOL Conference!
