Simulating Electromagnetic Metamaterials in COMSOL Multiphysics® - Archived
Electromagnetic metamaterials are an area of increasing interest due to the unique and configurable way in which they interact with light. These devices could enable novel applications such as negative refractive indices and subwavelength imaging. The underlying designs of metamaterial structures tend to be formed from periodic arrays of elements that are comparable in dimensions to the wavelength being considered.
In this webinar, we will cover the capabilities of COMSOL® for modeling metamaterials, including the features that simplify the representation of these systems. There will also be a live demonstration of how to simulate a metamaterial in the software.
