Does version 5.0 with matlab contains function like flim2curve and loft command.?

We were using version 3.5a from ling time to make MRI image model segmentations with matlab. now, we are thinking to update version to 5.0 . so I would like to know I it possible to use similar commands in 5.0.
Can i make model from from MRI images in 2d and 3d and also transfer it to comsol ? as i know its not possible in version 4.

Dear Nitisch,

In the current version of LiveLink for MATLAB you can use the function called MPHIMAGE2GEOM to create COMSOL geometry using image data such as MRI.

You can perform loft operation directly from within COMSOL if you have the Design Module. So you can import the MRI Data in COMSOL and then create the 3D geometry using the built-in functionality.

Hello sir,

I have the same problem that I can not plot 3D geometry with mphimage2geom with matlab. I am trying to load a stack of MRI images that to build a 3D structure and COMSOL can create this geometry. Can you share with me how to do that?
