2D or 3D Map on parameters

Hi,
I'd like to know if there exist a way for mapping (in terms of colours for 2D or higths in 3D) a global variable (let say the absorbance or S-parameters) in function of tho parameters (lets say two geometric parameters) after post processing.
I just do it exporting the datas from comsol to matlab but i'd like to know if there is a faster way to do it in comsol (v>=4.0) itself.
