Complex photonic band gap

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

Iam in face of serious problem, Iam trying to calculate a photonic band gap but using material with frequency dependent permittivity.

Can someone help me please, the problem is we look for frequency as eigenvalue but first we need to define a permittivity which is also depend on frequency so is very diffecult to see how can I do this with comsol, the problem is different than the old eigenvalue equation H.E=w.E now it become H(w).E=w.E.

Someone can help me please.
Thank you.
