Hi,
AC/DC works as long as the structures you model are much smaller than the wavelength. You should be save up to wavelength/100. So for 1GHz in air we are talking about 3 mm.

Hi
I would even say RF is better for such frequencies,
but its true that if we respect the size ratio, perhaps proposing that the true object should be even a few times smaller to have some free room around, then perhaps it's still OK

Yes,
the whole model (including the free space around the structure) needs to be much smaller than the applied wavelength. There are probably hardly any useful applications for something like that in the GHz range. So the RF module will be required to do something useful.
