The model should have following capabilities:
1. calculation of the discrete phase trajectory, and coupling of the continuous phase flow field prediction and the discrete phase calculation
2. prediction of the effects of turbulence on the dispersion of particles
3. heating and cooling of the discrete phase
4. vaporization of discrete phase (paint droplet)
5. droplet breakup and coalescence
6. simulate at least hundreds of droplets
Fluent has discrete phase model (DPM) module, which seems to be able to satisfy all my requirements. Is COMSOL capable of doing such simulation?
Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks.
