convergence problem for FSI

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am trying to run the cantilever beam in flow using FSI. And I get the basic case from the link here:www.comsol.com/model/fluid-structure-interaction-361.
It works well, but I want to change the 2 up and down wall into opening boundary, and at the same time change the calculation domain into square.
First I get the problem of "Failed to find consistent initial values.". So. I guess I need to have a stable solution as initial value. Now this problem is solved. But I get a new error, "Nonlinear solver did not converge.Maximum number of Newton iterations reached."
I have tried to change mesh, increase the number of newton iterations, decrease the initial time steps, change the boundary to symmetry and outlet. but the residual didn't decrease.
Anyone has any idea what else can I do?
