how to call interpolated data to calculate a equation in Global parameter or variable?

I am facing an issue in my design.
I plan to study the effect of absorption of light in the gold material. So, i place a thin layer of gold ( 10 nm) on a SiO2 substrate. The upper layer is air. For plotting the absorption Vs wavelength, the varying refractive index (real and extinction coefficient) of air and SiO2 are calculated by interpolation function. Results are good.
Now, I want to calculate the refraction angle, teta2= sin^-1(n2 * sin teta1/n1), is defined in a global variable. But I am unable to call this n1 and n2 from these interpolated material data.
Consider n1= real+i*extinction coefficient
Can you help me for this?
