The boundary conditions for plasma

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone
I want to use General PDE form to solve a problem of plasma.
It is a one-dimensional space (x=[0,0.001] mm)

the boundary flux condition (for every ions) is given by:

alfa*mobility*number's density*(E.n) <===================

====> alfa is 1 if E.n>0 otherwise is 0

====> mobility= ions mobility
====> E= electric field vector
n=Unit vector perpendicular to the surface. This vector outward orientation of the plasma.

How the unit vector should be defined for x=0 and x=0.001 mm?

I am using version 3.5a so we can not use the plasma module!

thanks
