How to calculate dispersion properties of step index fiber

I would like to plot the dispersion properties of step index fiber. Can some one help me how to plot it in comsol 4.1? I have used the given tutorial of step index fiber.

Were you able to determine the dispersion props. of a step index fiber

There is considerable difficulty in performing transient analysis of waveguides in COMSOL. If anyone's figured it out, I would very much like to chat with them!
