Insert a continuous wave on physics domain

Hi,

I try to create a model that reply the HIFU methodology (High intensity focused ultrasound);
HIFU could be run using continuous waveform or pulsed waveform.
Now i'm using the continuous waveform, sin(2*pi*f0*t) where f0 is the frequency( 0,8 MHz or 1,6 MHz) and t is the period( range of time[seconds]).
It is correct insert this kind of signal inside the physics of acoustic pressure?

How could i have a source that produces a CW depends on frequency of ultrasound and that has a duration of many seconds?
After this i execute the physics of bioheat equation.

Thanks a lot for the reply
