Different values for contour plots between 2D and 3D on the same surface

Hello,

I have simulated a PEM fuel cell and I am plotting the contours of the oxygen molar concentration on the interface between the cathode catalyst layer and the membrane.

For the same surface the maximum and minimum values for the contours in the 2D and 3D are different which does not make sense, could you please tell me why?

Also, what way is there to compare contour plots from different simulation? I tried taking an image snapshot but the contour colors are reversed. The maximum becomes blue and the minimum becomes red!!

I cannot upload the file. It is giving me a "file size" error, probably the file is too big.

Thank you very much
