GEOMETRY PARAMETRIC STUDY

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I have to do a parametric mechanical study with COMSOL 4.1 in 2D! The parametres involved are geometrical, therefore when they change the geometry changes. Specifically I have a concact (that I have to define) between two surfaces.
After having set the parametric sweep I run the model. Without definding any concact beetwween the surfaces no problem ... the geometry changes when the parametres change and I get a result (that of course is wrong since I haven't implemented the concact yet).

When I run the same program with the concact implemented I don't reach the end since, every time that the geometry changes, the lines involved in the concact (that lines enumerated by COMSOL) change as well.

Are there any way to do this parametric study without defining all the times the concacts?

Thank You
Giulio
