I would like to solve for the magnetic field and electric field as a function of time in the space surrounding a simple coil when the coil has a time dependent (say sinusoidal) voltage applied to each of it's open ends.
I've been exploring a few of the different options, including some of COMSOL's built-in coil options but can't seem to find the correct approach.
Also, I would like to use a 2D coil (I'm still solving inside a 3D volume) because the very small thickness of the coil material (~100nm) compared with model domain (~10mm) will cause meshing problems or at least neceistitate a unneccessary increase in computaional cost.
I greatly appreciate any help that you can provide!
