Meshing Thin High Aspect ratio geometries

Hi everyone, I am trying to solve a minichannel fluid - heat transfer coupled problem. The geometry has a 100mm wide and 2mm frame with 42 minichannel ports of 2mmX1mm cross section within it. It is about 2meters long. I understand that simplyfying to a few minichannel ports and reducing the length shall make the meshing part easy. However, I need to solve for the entire geometry.
Here is what I did, I formed fluid physics meshes for the fluid domain at the ports, and then built triangular elements on one of the cross-sectional faces of minichannel frame. However, as I try to sweep it along it's length, it gives the following message
"Failed to create swept mesh for domain. - Domain: 1 (minichannel frame) Mesh of linking face must be a structured quad mesh. - Face: 6"
I tried using the convert option, but that also leaves an error message saying, there are no elements on the frame to complete "the convert" option.
Kindly help if you have previously solved thin high aspect ratio geomtries before or if you have any suggestions as to make it work.
