Diffusion from source with species additions

I am modeling a system in which a diffusion source reservoir is intially set (as an Initial Value) to some concentration C=1 (t=0). At some later time point (t=x) the reservoir has been depleted and the concentration of the rest of system has increase accordingly. The reservoir is replenished at t=x, ie the concentration of the reservoir is reset to C=1. Is it possible to use the values solved for in the intial study or step (this would include the decreasing concentration in the reservoir), but to override the reservoir concentration to reset it in a secound study/step? Perhaps this is the wrong approach completely. Thanks, Mary
