How to calculate and use the left Cauchy-Green deformation tensor in a strain energy density calculation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am currently working on implementing a strain energy density function that requires the use of the left Cauchy-Green deformation tensor, B

Looking in the documentation for nonlinear hyperelastic structural materials, I see this is not a built-in/provided quantity in COMSOL. I'm currently working on using the same mathematical workflow used to calculate C to calculate B for the strain energy density function, but was wondering if anyone else has done this, had any tips, etc.

Thanks in advance
