metal castings

I have a mold made up of a gypsum based investment material and plan to cast a liquid metal (gold) into that mold and then let the gold set by cooling the mold. I would like to model the process by use of COMSOL 4.1 and thought I would find some similar case presented on COMSOL's Home Page. Unfortunately I have not found any such example and thought that by sending this e-mail I would get some help setting up a solution to my problem. As far as I can see the first component of the problem is a fluid dynamic problem. The second part of the problem is thermal transfer, and the third component is structural dynamics with which stresses developing in both casting and investment material can be determined. Have anyone of you solved a similar problem (e.g. making tin soldiers), and if so, would you be willing to help me solving my problem.

Thanks for all your help!
