Coupling issue between electromagnetic and heat transfer

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all,

Do you know what are the issues with coupling the 2 interfaces? I have an electromagnetic problem (magnetic field + electric circuit) coupled with ht interface (so actually there are 3 interfaces under transient solver). The emf problem is being properly solved, but regardless of the heat transfer (the temperature is mentained constant, which physical is not possible since the heat source is represented by Joule losses inside coils + convection and so on). What setting should I change/make? Does anyone know? Thank you!

Dear Yelda Veli,

please take a look at some of the Joule Heating examples documentation. Those can be find here: https://www.comsol.com/models?q=joule%20heating
