How to save data from table with real and imaginary part separately

I have made one mode analysis simulation in comsol 5.2. In the acomolated probe table settings I put the storage to 'in file'. After the simulation finishes the file contains wavelength, effective mode index and electricfield. But in effectivemodeindex the data stores as "1.445656824986555+1.6546494644E-12i" form. I want only the realpart of the effective modeindex collumn. Please help me with that as in that form the data is useless.

I suggest that you change the expression in the probe from e.g. "expr" to "real(expr)".
