Conjugate Heat Transfer, Duct Boundary Conditions?

I have successfully modeled forced convection over a heat sink. I have a known inlet temperature and velocity. I have run into problems when I add a duct geometry about the heat sink and air. My first question is about the boundary conditions on the outside of the duct. At first, I used a fixed temperature equal to the ambient temperature. I believe that is causing a cooler solution than reality. My next attempt was to use surface-to-ambient radiation on the exterior of the duct with a know emissivity and ambient temperature.

I have not yet found an acceptable solution with this method. Does there need to be a know medium outside the duct to radiate to?
