Hello,
I am trying to simulate the response of a baffled circular plate to an incident acoustic field inside a fluid half-space. The circular plate is clamped on the edges and is loaded by fluid on one side and vacuum on the other side.
My question is, how do I simulate an incident plane wave to excite this plate so that I can study the frequency response and displacement of the plate for plane wave of known acoustic intensity? My model should account for plane wave propogation through fluid medium (attenuation can be ignored) as well as the reflected wave from the surface of the plate.
Thank you Sush
