my model is not showing the phase change what are the reasons for this?

Hello,

The phase change is not automatically include in heat transfer interface.

You can use the two following approachs to define Phase Change:

1/ Use the "Phase change" feature like this model: https://www.comsol.fr/model/cooling-and-solidification-of-metal-12701

2/ Use ALE features like this model: https://www.comsol.fr/model/tin-melting-front-6234
