Hi !
I'm new on Comsol and the Comsol Multiphysics 5.4 my team has doesn't have the physics Moving Interface/Phase Field in the Licence. I'd like to model phase decomposition so I'm using a General Form PDE where I'm writing my equations. They are similar to the spinodal decompositions ones, with some Cahn-Hilliard type potential.
Unfortunatly, the computation diverges sometimes, and sometimes for some reasons I did not understand, the program stops computing after a few hours and get closed, or indicates some error. There are a lot of instabilities in the dynamics, and I assume that the issue.
My question is therefore if there is indeed a possibility in Mathematics PDE Interfaces to model those equations, or if it is necessary to install CFD or something that would contain Phase Field. And how is it possible to modulate the different parameters of the computation to get as few risks as possible for the computation to fail ?
Thanks in advance Joseph
