New user - Electrodes and neuron models

I am a very new user of COMSOL, and I have a few basic questions about the modelling I want to do. I am trying to model a region of the brain (that is, a collection of neurons), and how it responds to being electrically stimulated by microelectrodes. The neurons that I want to model are presumed to function like a circuit with multiple compartments, and are modelled by differential equations present in Hodgkin and Huxley's work (1952). I know that this sort of thing can be done, as I have papers which reference COMSOL and model these sorts of problems. My question is - how can I use COMSOL to model this problem, and which parts of COMSOL are relevant to it?
Your help is much appreciated.
Andrew.
