Simulating Underground salt cavern as storage for hydrogen

Hello,
i'm trying to simulate the change of an underground salt cavern storage from methane to hydrogen. At the beginning of the simulation there is methane in the storage at 30 bar. From the top of the cavern hydrogen is injected until the maximum operating pressure (should be around 160 bar). After the maximum operating pressure is reached, the injection is stopped.
I'm facing some problems: * the simulation is very time consuming (would take years to run the whole simulation) * time stepps taken by the solver are very small (between 0.1 and 1.5 s) * sometimes the mass source of w2 is above 1, which is non sense
Has someone an idea to optimize the model? My Model is attached.
