Induced electric dipole moment

I would like to calculate the induced electric dipole moment of a sphere in an otherwise uniform electric field (or electric current).
The center of the sphere is at the origin, and I have chosen the z-axis to point in the direction of the field external field.
How can this be done?
How can I integrate the surface charge of the sphere (times z)?
Thanks in advance,
