How can I have a colorful volume in my results?

How can I have a colorful volume in my results? I simulated in the ray-tracing module. My geometry is transparent but I would like the mirrors to have a blue color. Or for example, I would like the first mirror is red and the second is blue.

Note that version 5.6, which was introduced after that blog post was written, introduced many additional powerful visualization capabilities, an overview of which you can find in the Release Highlights
