rotation of the beam - direction of polarization

Hi,

i would like to ask something since i am quite new with Comsol. I have a 3D piezoelectric beam and I rotate it at different angles. When i import the beam, the direction of polarization is in z direction by default. So when i rotate the beam, i also have to rotate the polarization. However, when i rotate both the beam and the polarization by 60 or 75 deg, the arrows which indicate the direction of polarization are not perpendicular to the surface (see attached picture). In the case of 45 deg, it works fine and my results make sense. Is there anything I do not consider?

Thanks, Dimos
