In a time dependent model I input a parameter as a function contains logarithmic part. put the program stopped at the initial step because there is a large difference between initial value and boundary value so the program give me fluctuated values beside the boundary ,where some values reaches to negatives .so the logarithmic part of the function gives error

Hi

I then believe you have no other way out than estimate better the solution from some hand calculations, and define your initial conditions closer to the final ones, and check that yourmesh is fine enough to orrectly solve the gradients you have, even (or probably specially) in log mode

Good luck
