Identity pair as light source in Comsol 4.2

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,

I have simulated a model, please see attached.

If I do “form the union”, the inner boundary can not be used to set as SBC or Port.

So I do "form a assembly", and define a idensity pair. Now I can set the inner boundary as light source.

However, an error occurs as:

Automatic scaled regions cannot treat selections without exterior and interior boundaries.

PML geometric setting types is Cartesian, I change PML geometric setting types as General,

The calculation can process, but the results are confusing.

Expecting you to give me some help!

Million thanks!
