3D fluid filling/dispersion process

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi!

I'm trying to model, simulate and visualize how a fluid fills/disperses through a substrate with microstructures on it. But for the life in me I can not understand how I can perform/set two of the most important things: * How (or what parameters) can I set COMSOL so that I'm able to see the fluid dispersion results, along the time in 3D, as the attached picture illustrates?; * In order to achieve the previous bullet point I need to accomplish another task. How do I define an "entry port" (inlet) that supplies a parametric fluid flow as desired (I know I can define ramp, rectangular, function, etc. but I'm not able to decipher how do I set such an "entry port")!

Thanks!

Rui
