Defining different cross sections for different beams

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I have a model consists of thousands of circular beams. I've modeled the geometry (lines), but I need to also define the cross section (diameter of the circular beams) in the Physics section. The problem is every single beam in my model has a different cross section. As I have a lot of beams, it is not doable (it is very time consuming) to select each beam and define the cross section.

I have all the IDs of beams and their corresponding diamters. Is there any way to write a script to relate the dimater of each beam to the ID of it ?
