Tangential electric field strength on the curve

How to find the tangential electric field intensity on the curve in a two-dimensional axisymmetric model? thx!

Hello QQ,

In a 2D axisymmetric model, the vector with components (nr, nz) is normal to curves. (tr, tz) is the tangential vector. You can easily plot them using an Arrow Line plot. By taking the dot product with a vectorial field, you can compute and plot the components of that field normal and tangential to a curve: V.n=Vrnr+Vznz, etc.
