dear all,

in my analysis 2D(x-y) domain is presnt , but during simlation it must be forced to behave 1D(x)
on boundary 1 : U=0
on boundary 2 V=0
on boundary 3 U=0 and V i = V j

on the boundary 3 at each node the vertical displacement must be forced to be equal at each nodes ..

my gemoetrry has 300 nodes along boundary 3..and all nodes must have same V displacement

i cannot do with prescribed displacement because i do not know h0w much to prescribe

the solution has to give the displacemnt at boundary 3 such that all nodes on it must have same V displacement

how can i do this..i have been trying to use different options..but not successful

many thanks in advance
pavan
