Why only tetrahedral mesh?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I really love using COMSOL. But why there is only tetrahedral mesh option for 3-D space?

I want to use Hexahedral mesh for arbitrary 3-D domain since it usually doesn't need as many elements as tetrahedral mesh does. But.. the only option to make hexahedral element is to use Sweep option. Why..? please tell me !!

Thank you.
