Problems using Electric Current for Nonlinear 3D semicondutive materials

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everybody,
I am now using Electric current mode to calculate the electric field in an insulation structure including semi-conductive material in 3D domain. Comsol can not run and has a singular matrix error.
I tried this model with a normal material instead of semi-conductive material, and it could run. For this problem with the semi-conductive material, it worked well in 2D axial-symmetric domain.
Hence I think the problem here relates to the nonlinear feature.
Anybody have experiences about this, please help me.
Thank you.
Best Regard,
Nam
