Exporting 3D plot data to .mat or .csv file

Hi guys, I want to export 3D plot data into .mat file (or anotehr numeric file).

I have this surface potential map in comsol.

Basically I need to know the value of electric potential in each place on surface in every time step of the simulation.

Can you help?

Thank you very much.

You can use a Plot export feature for this purpose. You can create it in two ways:

  • Go to Results > Export and create it from the context menu.

  • Go to the plot and choose Add Plot Data to Export from the context menu.

It's possible to export to a .csv-file but not to a .mat-file.
