Hello everyone
I am trying to measure the Young modulus (E) of a SC unit of Solid and Air. I have defined periodic boundary condition for opposite faces (in y and z direction) and I have defined equal but with different sign prescribed displacement with 0 displacement in z and y direction for other two faces. I defined first principal stress and first principal strain on the whole domains.
The result I get from dividing first principal stress by first principal strain is a little bit higher than what I expect, based on the literature. Now I have two questions:
- Am I doing the correct procedure?
- How Can I have Bulk modulus of this unit?
Thank you in advance for your Help!
