quick question about defining a variable

Dear all,

I am trying to define a variable first (e.g. H = 10), and using the value of H to extrude a 2D rectangular to 3D cube. How can I define this H?

I have tried define H in the "Option"->"Constant", in all the options under the "Option"->"Expressions".

The error message I get after put H in the extrusion value is:
- Property name: distance
Unknown variable name.
- Name: H
