recovery options

Hello! I hope everyone doing well. I am performing some simulation and I feel like the recovery file takes a lot of space. I find some information about the changing the way the recovery files are controlled. However, I still have a little confusion about what is mean by these options: 1) Recovery saving - (a) Saving ratio? (b) On every iteration 2) Recovery saving ration- what this option do, say I change it to 0.4? 3) save every- what this option do, say I increase this time?

I have attached the a screenshot, just for the ease of you. Thanks !

Hello Ghufranullah,

These settings are explained in the COMSOL Multiphysics Reference Manual, version 6.3, page 92. All manuals can be accessed in the software through the File > Help > Documentation menu, or online here.

Best regards,

Jeff
